Product Manager - Identity & Digital Protection Services

Generali Global Assistance (GGA), a leader in private label identity theft protection solutions, is looking for a Product Manager who will support our Identity Theft Protection business.

You will be charged with improving and enhancing existing products, developing new products, and working with our sales and marketing team to help them understand the product positioning, key benefits and target customer needs.  You will conduct research and analysis to support enhancements and new product initiatives that solve market problems and drive the growth of our business. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Market Problems – discover and validate client and customer problems through market research and analysis, client meetings, meetings with sales, conferences and trade shows
  • Win-Loss Analysis – conduct win-loss interviews to understand why recent evaluators did or did not buy and provide feedback and recommendations to internal teams
  • Competitor and Market Analysis – maintain and update competitive analysis to assess strengths and weaknesses and use to help develop our strategy to win. Serve as product expert with equal knowledge of competitor products
  • Buyer and User Personas – define the archetypical buyers and users for our products and services. Be the expert on your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria.
  • Requirements & Use Case – develop market/business requirements and user scenarios to describe the business needs for development
  • Product Enhancements/ new products - Gain a deep understanding of the customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas to grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Product Development - Work with cross functional teams to drive development of product enhancements and new product features from concept to delivery
  • Partnerships – identify and work with product vendors to manage vendor relationships.
  • Positioning & Marketing – Develop impactful product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market and collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop go-to-market plans and sales materials
  • Sales enablement – Work with marketing, sales and customer service teams to communicate the value proposition of products & help develop sales tools to support selling GGA products. Where appropriate, coordinate training for sales, marketing and internal teams with our vendors. Review and provide input on marketing content, collateral, sales tools and sales training programs to ensure that products are positioned accurately

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-7+ years of software product marketing experience in the areas of key responsibilities (above)
  • Bachelor’s  degree in business or marketing or related field
  • Entrepreneurial drive with ability to work on multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced matrix organization
  • Impeccable oral and written communication skills
