Product Implementation Supervisor


The Product Implementation Supervisor oversees a team dedicated to developing and delivering customized products for our clients. Working across departments, this role is crucial to information-gathering required to respond to RFPs, implementing new product designs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing the staff who support these processes.


  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred;
  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an insurance/regulatory environment preferred;
  • Experience with implementation of new products; ability to manage multiple product implementations consecutively;
  • Experience with project management or workflow software such as Workfront.


  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required;
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with all levels within an organization;
  • Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.


Team Supervision

  • Assists in the interview process and hiring of new team members;
  • Manages and conducts performance reviews for direct reports and provides measurable benchmarks and goals for each team member; and
  • Responsible for timecard management of team members, including time off requests.
  • Documents employee performance including disciplinary action, up to and including termination;
  • Gives appropriate recognition to others;
  • Exhibits confidence in self and others; Inspires and motivates others to perform well;
  • Responsible for daily supervision of department staff during hours of operations.

Product Implementation

  • Manages the end-to-end process of product implementation through coordination with Sales, Business Excellence and the Product Team to design products that meet the needs of the company and our business partners;
  • Participates in developing creative solutions to product issues with the objective of maximizing opportunities for profitability and minimizing compliance risks.

Proposal Coordination

  • Manages the coordination, assignment, and timely collection of department responses to RFP’s;
  • Manage the response process by creating a workflow in Workfront that tracks timeliness of responses;
  • Execute on all RFP/RFI/Questionnaires/Surveys etc. by developing close relationships with sales, product, legal and finance;
  • Work with Marketing, Training, and subject matter experts to ensure response information is accurate and timely.  

Partner Licensing Management

  • Manages partner’s compliance with CSA guidelines and standards, including: initial deployment of CSA products for agent sales; agent travel insurance / limited lines licensing; installation of pre-developed advertising material in customer-facing advertising, purchase paths and websites;
  • Audits partner activity and websites for compliance, investigates compliance issues, makes recommendations for remediation, and implements corrective action in collaboration with Sales Account Managers;
  • Conducts annual full-scope audits of all partners’ compliance on annual basis, including checking that proper materials are being distributed, proper staff training has been completed, all critical business documents are in place, etc.
  • Serves as subject matter expert in agent travel insurance / limited lines licensing, directly managing complex and VIP account profiles
  • Leads licensing-based projects and initiatives with support of other team members and/or temporary staff
  • Establishes communication structure for initial partner on-boarding, licensing renewals, training schemes, corrective actions, and off-boarding processes
