Internal Auditor

The Internal Auditor is responsible for executing planned audits of Generali Global Assistance’s North American business units.

This position is also open to well qualified professionals who will work remotely.


  • Perform independent and objective audits designed to improve the organization’s operations and to detect malfeasance
  • Assist in audit planning, conduct fieldwork and document results, identify and report on issues
  • On a regular basis, follow-up on and appraise the status of recommendations made to business units, ensuring implementation
  • Evaluate the efficacy of risk management procedures
  • Ensure that the company is complying with relevant laws and statutes
  • Ensure that the company is protected from theft and fraud
  • Ensure internal controls are in place and effective

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting  
  • 8 years of progressive experience in a regulated industry

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong analytical thinking with competency in accounting, audit or compliance
  • Outstanding presentation and communication
  • Ability to work independently
  • Consistent and unrelenting follow through
  • Proficiency in MS-Office applications
