Network Support Specialist-Temp position (3-4 months)

We are looking for a Temporary Medical Network Support Specialist to support the network managers with networking functions and administrative tasks. This person will ensure that provider data is updated and correct in the GMMI Local Search and other portals as well as the VCC system.

Primary Role & Responsibilities:

  • Support the needs of GMMI by assisting Network Managers with administrative tasks
  • Work with Network team to maintain and resolve provider issues in Network Inbox
  • Work with Network team to maintain provider data in Directories and Portals
  • Work with Network Managers to ensure the data in Shared Drive, Provider enrollment forms and GMMI contracts is reflected in VCC
  • Maintain PPO Logic in VCC and load contract rates in to VCC
  • Responsible for provider verification and ad hoc data updates in all systems (Address, Phone #, W-9’s)
  • W9 – requests: ensuring that bills on hold are worked on a timely manner and requests are followed up accordingly.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in GMMI philosophy on Provider, Customer Service and Client Management.
  • Knowledge of GMMI clients and procedures
  • Basic knowledge of all aspects of processing claims for all clients
  • Basic knowledge of medical bill screen & network repricing system
  • Proficient in client eligibility websites and listings for assigned clientele
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Must represent the organization in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
  • Computer skills essential to manage correspondence, database maintenance, spreadsheet analysis and for information entry / retrieval from the CostCare system.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to interact positively with clients, providers and professional staff
